There was a time when it looked like I had everything together. The house, the husband, the kids, the clubs, my circle of friends…
But inside, I was exhausted, overwhelmed, crumbling, and little did I know that I was repeating these “invisible” patterns I didn’t fully understand… let alone know how to change.
I was navigating divorce, raising three children, advocating for my son with autism, caring for my mom who was terminal with cancer, and chronic pain in my body. The person I forgot about was me.
What I discovered didn’t just change my life. It changed how I see everything, including those same patterns running in the background without my conscious permission and how I was treating myself.
What we call “patterns” aren’t random.
They’re intelligent responses— fired and wired into the nervous system and the brain, shaped by experience, beliefs and reinforced over time.
This is what is going on when you are spiraling, repeating the same behaviors and making the same not so healthy choices.
And most people don’t realize…is that they are stuck because they are unaware of what’s actually running the show.
